Speaker Profile: Alex King

The end of day key note for WordCamp Seattle is an interview with web developer and businessman Alex King. Alex currently resides in Denver, Colorado, having moved from the Bay Area in 2004. He is the founder of Crowd Favorite, a web development company that specializes in WordPress development (including themes and implementation) and web-based applications.

Alex will be answering questions about running a business around open source software, his experiences with the WordPress community and where he sees WordPress going in the future. He’ll also touch on his WP Help Center experience and some issues regarding how best to serve WordPress users going forward from this point. It will be a great interview.

When not wrangling code or people, Alex keeps busy with a variety of sports and activities. His sporting time is primarily spent on the golf course or playing volleyball and he also dabbles in guitar and photography. You can find him at alexking.org or Crowd Favorite.
