I am honored to announce that Alex King will be joining us for WordCamp Seattle. Alex is originally from Seattle and we are pleased he has agreed to return for this year’s WordCamp.

Alex King is an original contributing developer to the WordPress Open Source project. He has created dozens of free WordPress plugins and themes and a handful of commercial WordPress products. In 2004 and 2005, Alex ran the the first two design competitions for WordPress which helped the project grow significantly in adoption and popularity. He is the founder of Crowd Favorite, a pre-eminent WordPress consulting and development firm in Denver, Colorado that focuses on large scale WordPress projects.

We will be doing an interview with Alex during the conference. That will give us all the opportunity to learn more about him, such as how he got started with WordPress and why he continues to contribute so much back to the community.
