My partner and I were very disapointed. There was absolutely nothing to help total beginners with WordPress. I am looking for a new web design tool and came away with nothing helpful regarding WordPress. I will still likely pursue using WordPress. However, if you are not an experienced user, I see no value in attending one of the WordCamps. If spreading the power of WordPress is a WordCamp goal, then the beginer needs to be nurtured at these camps.
